The First Triangle Interns Start Work!

This June has seen West London’s iBurbia Studios welcome the first round of interns to the TV Triangle. The five boys, all from Manchester Metropolitan University, will be at iBurbia for just over a month, during which time they will be working on a project around VOD, as well as gaining hands-on experience in TV technology and the main issues facing the TV industry today. Below is a short introduction to each of the interns:

Jonathan Bacchus

I'm from Stockport, Cheshire. I am currently studying BSC (Hons) Media Technology at MMU. I have had a great interest in the Media Industry since I studied ICT at Secondary School, from then on it has been my ambition to work in the industry. After school, I went onto to study BTEC E-Media and ICT at A-Level at Marple Sixth Form College.. I have particularly taken interest in CGI, 3D Modelling and Animation as I enjoy the hands on approach, learning new software and being creative with it. I hope to pursue a career in TV/Film/Gaming, in a CGI or animators role.

DamonDamon Bannister

I have had a keen interest in media from an early age. After studying both Media and Film at college, I chose to study Media Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University, in order to further hone my skills in filmmaking and media production. Constructing a piece of work from the ground up is a very satisfying endeavor, and I am currently working on numerous projects with like-minded friends in order to full get a grasp of production at an independent level. I hope to pursue a career in filmmaking in later life.

AlexAlex Everett

I have been a fascinated by media technology for over 6 years. While attending school and college in Lincolnshire I aspired for a career in the film industry creating features combining live film and CGI. During this time I worked on commissions in the public sector, including local schools and the North East Lincolnshire Fire Department and also the private sector such as wedding and corporate videos.  Once I graduate from University, I would hope to continue working in the TV industry while continuing my hobby in film productions for commissions and personal entertainment.

DeclanDeclan Kelly

I am currently studying BSc Media Technologies at Manchester Metropolitan University, which includes addressing new technologies, the ways in which they work and the most efficient methods of handling and applying these technologies to new projects. I have gained particular skills within 3D Development in which I construct and develop models, and animate them in order to create realistic virtual environment. I have also specialised in Soundscapes and Audio Development in my final year of university and I hope to eventually pursue a career in Audio Management and Production.
